Tanfeeth, a fully-owned subsidiary of Emirates NBD, has been awarded the regional ‘Advocacy for Best HR Practices’ distinction by the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
SHRM, the world’s largest professional HR association recognised Tanfeeth for its innovative and industry-leading HR strategy and practices at the HR Excellence Awards Gala, recently held in Dubai. The event, part of the 2014 HR Summit and Expo, the Middle East's largest show dedicated to HR professionals in the region featured the latest innovation, strategies, insights and international best practices by the most influential and respected HR leaders and practitioners from around the globe.
Founded in 1948, SHRM is the world’s largest HR membership organisation devoted to human resource management, representing more than 275,000 members in over 160 countries.

Tanfeeth delivered several seminars during the 2014 HR Summit and Expo, with Hessa Al Ghurair receiving significant praise for innovative practices on Employee Engagement in a presentation titled From ‘Engaged to Married’. “The key to successful engagement is to understand your workforce and ensure your practices are aligned to their needs.” said Al Ghurair “Only then can you move employees from being Engaged to Married to the organisation.”
Suhail Bin Tarraf, CEO of Tanfeeth delivered a much anticipated presentation on HR Analytics, titled ‘The Future is Only A Click Away’ in partnership with Peter Clark, co-founder of Qlearsite - a new and innovative HR Analytics solution. “We have been in a strategic partnership with Qlearsite for over a year now, and we’ve been heavily involved in the development of their new solution. It truly is an amazing tool that is allowing Tanfeeth to make real-time data driven people decisions,” said Bin Tarraf. “I don’t consider this just HR Analytics but rather an essential leadership tool that is a crucial part of my corporate strategy.”
