New job vacancies, graduate programmes, Emiratisation initiatives and AI-powered career tools featured on the second day of Ru’ya, Careers UAE 2026, as employers highlighted opportunities for Emirati students, graduates and professionals.
More than 150 employers and organisations across over 23 sectors are participating in the careers event, connecting Emirati jobseekers with current vacancies while offering career guidance, training and development opportunities.
The second day placed emphasis not only on recruitment but also on the skills and programmes that can support longer-term career development, including digital capabilities, adaptability, continuous learning and leadership.
Employers showcase career opportunities
United Arab Bank (UAB) is presenting 17 vacancies alongside its Tomouh Fresh Graduate Programme, which is aimed at supporting recent graduates entering the workforce.
The bank is also highlighting partnerships with educational institutions focused on strengthening links between education, skills development and employment.
Hind Al Attar, Chief Human Capital Officer at UAB, said the bank's programmes are intended to help young Emiratis build the skills and experience needed to progress professionally.
“At United Arab Bank, we are committed to creating meaningful pathways for young Emirati talent to build successful careers and contribute to the UAE’s future,” Al Attar said.
Engineering and infrastructure company Parsons is offering nearly 60 opportunities across engineering, project management, urban planning, architecture and other functions.
The company is also showcasing the career journey of Stakeholder Engineer Marwa AlMaazmi, who first connected with Parsons at Ru’ya in 2025 before subsequently joining the company.
AlMaazmi said her visit to the company's stand at last year's event helped her learn more about its work and available opportunities.
“Joining Parsons shortly after has been an incredible experience. I’ve learned a great deal from the team while working on different projects and coordinating with various authorities,” she said.
Other organisations are also presenting programmes aimed at Emirati talent. BESIX is introducing its first UAE National Programme, while Al-Futtaim is highlighting its SINYAR talent and leadership platform.
The Financial Audit Authority is showcasing its University Internship Programme, covering disciplines including accounting, finance, human resources and information systems.
New Emiratisation initiative announced
Ru’ya also saw the announcement of the Al Ghaf – DHCA Emiratisation Excellence Award, introduced by Dubai Healthcare City Authority (DHCA) and the Emirati Human Resources Development Council in Dubai (EHRDC).
The award will recognise organisations across the Dubai Healthcare City ecosystem for initiatives aimed at attracting, developing and retaining Emirati employees.
AI tools support career preparation
Artificial intelligence is also playing a role in the career-development experience at Ru’ya.
TelleScope is showcasing three AI-powered tools focused on career discovery, CV development and interview preparation.
Shadi Almajdalani, Founder and CEO of TelleScope, said AI could make career development more personalised and accessible as workforce requirements evolve.
“AI has the potential to fundamentally change how people discover careers and prepare for opportunities,” Almajdalani said.
Education and employment in focus
The connection between education, skills and employment was also discussed through the Ru’ya Podcast Studio, produced in collaboration with Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI).
Day Two sessions featured Dr Abdulrahman Nassir of KHDA, Ahmad Al Janahi of KPMG Lower Gulf, May AlMansoori and Reem Alblooshi of Emirates NBD, and H.E. Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of DGHR.
Discussions covered education, career development, future leadership skills and the development of the UAE workforce.
The three-day podcast programme is examining the choices, skills and opportunities influencing the careers of the next generation of Emiratis.
Ru’ya returns for final day
Ru’ya's Get Hired, Career Guidance, Academic Hub and Ru’ya Academy features are providing visitors with access to recruiters, education pathways, career advice and skills-development opportunities.
The 2026 edition will continue for its final day at Dubai World Trade Centre, giving Emirati students, graduates and professionals another opportunity to meet employers and explore employment, education and career-development options.
