The Stylish Hyundai Tucson: The first C-SUV in its class to be available in both short and long wheelbases

Hyundai Motor Company today revealed the first images of its all-new Tucson. New design highlights include the latest evolution of Hyundais signature headlamp architecture called Parametric Hidden Lights and a dual-cockpit layout that offers personalized space intuitively optimized for high-tech user experience.

The images hint at innovative features befitting Tucsons signature strength and pioneering spirit. The all-new Tucsons world opening press interview will be gushed online around the world on September 15th, at 9:30 a.m. KST.

The Livestream, a teaser video and pictures are free at hyundai.com and Hyundais social media channels. For its fourth generation, Hyundai took the all-new Tucson to the next level of automotive design, making it the first C-SUV in its class to be available in two different dimensions, while sharing the same name.

The mission of Sensuous Sportiness is to promote the emotional qualities of automotive design. We need our customers to feel moved. With the all-new Tucson, we are extending its latest development and a complete statement about Hyundais unstoppable forward energy, said SangYup Lee, Senior Vice President and Head of Hyundai Global Design Center.

Tucsons seasoned, experimental design is true to its pioneering spirit and suggests the game in the industrys most competitive segment.

Hyundais Sensuous Sportiness design identity, first began on the new Elantra, brings an intense punch to Tucsons avant-garde Parametric Dynamics design theme.

The Parametric Dynamics cover that makes a compelling first track The all-new Tucsons forward exterior styling shows what Hyundai architects call Parametric Dynamics with active jewel-like exterior details that will have somebody doing a double-take.

Parametric Hidden Lights provide a powerful first impression. These signature DRLs (daytime running lights) are seamlessly blended into the jewel-like grille, only shared when turned on.

Overall, the new Tucsons body is bigger and more comprehensive than previous-generation models, giving a long hood and short extensions on an extended wheelbase that gives it a slinky coup-like character.

From the side, lean body panels offer yet another interpretation of parametric design. Chiselled surfaces create a stunning contrast within a sleek profile and masculine wedge, implying forward motion even while being still. Taut solid shapes seamlessly merge into spare wheel arches where alloy wheels provide a powerful and energetic stance.

An INTERSPACE with a nonsectarian interface Getting into the all-new Tucsons roomy interior or INTERSPACE is like opening a neatly organized room where everyday cares disappear, not unlike the atmosphere of a modern boutique hotel where your satisfaction and comfort are the utmost preference.

In the new Tucson, space, technology and information intersect harmoniously. The development of Tucsons interior layout led to a more economical device display and removal of the gauge group housing for a decluttered surface. Layered, sensuous forms reinforce the feeling of openness.

The broad range of the dashboard blends seamlessly with the doors, wrapping around front renters like a deep gorge. The vertically oriented, fully combined square fascia descends to the console like a mighty waterfall. Twin silver decoration lines streaming from the centre fascia to the rear doors harmonize neatly layered premium surface materials in complementary neutral tones.
