The demo day and Iftar were hosted by Intelak, a startup incubator program focused on aviation, travel and tourism led by the Principal Partners the Emirates Group, GE and Dubais Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing during which the four winning startups from Cohort 5 presented their innovative business ideas to the audience.

From 16 teams, all competing for a place in the fifth edition of the Intelak program, the four winning startups from Cohort 5 Avendi, Bonflite, Cargonow and Hotel Data Cloud were selected. Each of the entities presented their pitch to potential investors.

The startups have undergone detailed training from the experts at the Emirates Group, GE, and Dubai Tourism and have been provided with valuable insights by other ecosystem partners. The startups have completed 100 hours of mentoring attending over 20 business workshops with the leading national and international business trainers with each of the teams receiving AED 50000 in seed funding.

Moreover, to the date, Intelak has provided over 1 million to the winning startups who get selected for incubation.

The Cohort 5 presented innovative ideas for the aviation, travel and tourism industry to the audience.

Avendi is a chatbot, sharing valuable suggestions with travelers to Dubai in just a few minutes via licensed tour guides.

Bonflite offers the innovative solution of purchasing the duty-free items at any point of time throughout their travel itinerary.

Cargonow has a mission to solve the difficulties of manual booking processes and lack of visibility within the delivery process of logistics transportation.

Hotel Data Cloud aims to establish a globally consistent standard with automating the distribution to all channels.

Intelak brings the entrepreneurs and the students from across the UAE together to participate in the aviation, travel and tourism-focused incubator program.
