NAFFCO Group has signed an expanded Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MAN Truck & Bus, reinforcing a long-standing strategic partnership aimed at advancing global firefighting and rescue capabilities.

The agreement was formalised during a high-level visit by MAN Truck & Bus leadership to NAFFCO’s headquarters in Dubai.

High-level strategic discussions

The NAFFCO delegation was led by Eng. Khalid Al Khatib, Founder and Chief Executive Officer; Ali Khalid Al Khatib, Group Managing Director; and Mohammad Al Khatibeh, Marketing Director of the Vehicles Division.

They hosted Friedrich Baumann, Executive Board Member at MAN Truck & Bus; Thomas Hemmerich, Head of Sales Area International; and Mikael Lindner, Head of MEA & CIS.

Discussions focused on chassis innovation, vehicle integration excellence, and long-term global growth, with both sides outlining a shared roadmap for next-generation emergency response vehicles.

Co-developing next-generation vehicles

The expanded MoU marks a new milestone in a partnership built on engineering expertise, technological innovation, and mutual trust.

By combining NAFFCO’s strength in advanced firefighting systems, rescue vehicle engineering, and specialised vehicle manufacturing with MAN’s cutting-edge chassis and automotive engineering technology, the collaboration aims to co-develop next-generation firefighting and rescue vehicles tailored to evolving global safety requirements.

For years, MAN chassis have served as high-performance platforms for NAFFCO’s fire trucks and rescue vehicles deployed worldwide. The companies said the synergy between their engineering teams has consistently delivered robust, durable, and technologically advanced emergency vehicles capable of operating in the most demanding environments.

Setting new global benchmarks

Both organisations emphasised that the strengthened collaboration reflects their commitment to innovation, quality, and the continuous advancement of global firefighting and rescue solutions.

As safety challenges grow more complex worldwide, NAFFCO Group and MAN Truck & Bus aim to deliver smarter, more efficient, and technologically advanced emergency vehicles, setting new benchmarks for performance, reliability, and operational excellence across the global safety and mobility sectors.
