Spot And Celebrate The Acts Of Originality That Put The Extra In Ordinary With 7UP

Our region is rich with undiscovered original talents, refreshing ideas, unique skills and distinctive places that are worthy of recognition, yet go rather unnoticed.
7UP is on a mission, to celebrate acts of originality and the people who do them, to discover and provide a genuine platform for these up and coming originals, to express and share their diversity of interests.
Everyone has an inner flair to show the world and through #originalspotting, we can bring these talents to light and celebrate them. The campaign goes beyond peoples originality and can be anything from a place, an idea, a concept. Its a platform to discover and spread this originality across the region, and you can help in making this happen, said Carla Hassan, Chief Marketing Officer, PepsiCo Middle East and Africa commenting on this initiative.

Through an integrated TV campaign, digital activation and an online hub www.originalspotting.com 7UP invites the region, to spot acts of originality and post them using the hashtag #originalspotting via social media. The acts of originality will stand side by side other acts from various cities across the region and will be an inspiration to our diversity and to spread our inner sparkle and natural flair.

The Original Spotting regional campaign led by the MEA region is an extension of the global 7Up campaign to celebrate the new positioning for PepsiCos second biggest beverage, announced in March 2014, Feels Good to Be You. The new positioning and mantra, celebrates everyones uniqueness and is an invitation to be true to yourself, and who you naturally are, the most authentic you, to express your originality and impact your world with a positive beat.
