Shams Emaar Celebrates Workers with A Pack to Give Back

Shams Emaar, the corporate social responsibility group of Emaar, are honouring employees for their dedication and commitment to building the city, with A Pack to Give Back project. The initiative is just in time for the prep work for the Holy Month of Ramadan and as part of Shams Emaars #BuildingCommunities campaign.

Shams Emaar team, which includes Emaar employees and led by Ahmad Al Matrooshi, Managing Director of Emaar Properties, integrated and created 10,000 packs having various essentials - from soaps and hair shampoos to a cap to protect the workers from the sunlight, simply among others. The packs are being dispersed to workers at Emaar's project websites. Different Emaar entities have actually signed up with hands for the campaign including staff at Address Hotels + Resorts, Rove Hotels, The Dubai Shopping mall and other divisions of Emaar.

The #BuildingCommunities campaign was introduced in 2015 by organizing community Iftars for the varied workforce that sustains Emaar and complements the CSR initiatives led by Emaar Foundation.
