MANGUSTEEN and DXB LIVE partner to expand event platforms across Qatar and UAE

MANGUSTEEN has entered into a strategic collaboration with DXB LIVE, the integrated event management and experiential agency of Dubai World Trade Centre, to develop and expand event platforms across Qatar and the UAE.

The partnership will focus on two areas: supporting the expansion of selected DXB LIVE intellectual properties (IPs) into Qatar and jointly developing new flagship event IPs for the UAE market.

MANGUSTEEN to support DXB LIVE's Qatar expansion

Under the collaboration, MANGUSTEEN will serve as DXB LIVE's official agency partner in Qatar.

Its role will include providing local market expertise, stakeholder engagement, strategic development and on-ground support for selected DXB LIVE event properties entering the Qatari market.

The partnership is intended to help DXB LIVE introduce existing event concepts to new audiences while leveraging MANGUSTEEN's understanding of the local market.

New UAE event concepts planned

MANGUSTEEN and DXB LIVE will also work together to develop new flagship event IPs for the UAE.

The first initiatives are expected to be introduced from the fourth quarter of 2026. The collaboration will combine MANGUSTEEN's focus on concept development, partnerships and audience engagement with DXB LIVE's event management, production and delivery capabilities.

Malik Shishtawi, Founder and CEO of MANGUSTEEN, said the collaboration would support the company's regional expansion while creating opportunities for longer-term platforms across both markets.

“DXB LIVE brings an exceptional depth of experience in delivering and scaling major events, while MANGUSTEEN brings strong market understanding, relationships and an entrepreneurial approach to developing new opportunities,” he said.

Partnership follows Qatar Event Show

The collaboration follows discussions between the two organisations throughout 2026 to identify opportunities for combining their respective expertise and market presence.

The discussions were formalised during DXB LIVE's participation at the Qatar Event Show 2026.

The companies said the partnership reflects their interest in strengthening connections between the events industries of Qatar and the UAE, at a time when both markets continue to develop their events, exhibitions and live-experiences sectors.

Khalid Al Hammadi, Executive Vice President at DXB LIVE, said Qatar represented an important market for the company's regional expansion.

“Our collaboration with MANGUSTEEN reflects our ambition to continue expanding the reach and impact of our event portfolio across the region,” he said.

He added that the partnership would also create opportunities to develop new event concepts for the UAE by combining the capabilities of both organisations.

Further announcements regarding new UAE-based flagship event IPs are expected from Q4 2026.
