NFPA launches NFPA LiNK 3.0 at Intersec Dubai to drive digital transformation in fire safety

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) has launched the latest version of its digital platform, NFPA LiNK 3.0, during Intersec Dubai 2026, marking a major step forward in supporting digital transformation across the fire and electrical safety sectors.

The announcement was made as NFPA concluded its participation in Intersec Dubai, where the association hosted NFPA Day, an interactive programme designed to encourage dialogue between government decision-makers, regulators, and industry leaders. Discussions focused on strengthening fire and electrical safety standards and enhancing the protection of lives and property across the region.

Unveiled by NFPA President and CEO Jim Pauley, the next-generation NFPA LiNK platform provides safety professionals with advanced digital tools and access to a comprehensive library of more than 300 NFPA codes and standards. The updated platform is designed to enable faster, more accurate decision-making through improved accessibility, enhanced functionality, and the integration of artificial intelligence.

A key feature of NFPA LiNK 3.0 is the introduction of CASI™, an AI-powered smart assistant for codes and standards. CASI allows users to engage in interactive conversations, receive summarized and referenced answers, and directly access authoritative NFPA content. According to NFPA, the tool transforms LiNK from a digital reference library into an intelligent professional companion that supports real-time problem-solving and standards implementation.

Jim Pauley described the launch of the AI-powered features as a significant evolution of the platform. He said the new version combines ease of access, speed, and technical intelligence, allowing safety professionals to search for the latest regulations and apply safety requirements more efficiently, wherever they are. He added that CASI is built exclusively on official NFPA content, ensuring users can rely on trusted and verified information.

Dana Kamal, Director of International Development for the Middle East and North Africa at NFPA, said the launch of NFPA LiNK 3.0 at Intersec Dubai reflects the association’s commitment to delivering innovation directly into the daily workflows of safety professionals. She noted that the region continues to demonstrate leadership in adopting and integrating advanced technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, across safety and infrastructure sectors.

In addition to CASI, the new release introduces interactive and customizable notebooks that allow users to import images, add text and visuals, insert code references, create checklists, and store all project-related materials in one integrated workspace. A redesigned dashboard also enables users to organize content according to their specific workflow needs, supporting greater collaboration and efficiency across projects.

NFPA’s participation in Intersec Dubai 2026 further strengthened its engagement with regional stakeholders, including government authorities, industry leaders, and technical experts. Conference sessions addressed emerging topics such as the role of artificial intelligence in modern monitoring systems, fire protection strategies for mega-projects, and the evolving energy and infrastructure landscape in the Middle East.

With more than 130 years of experience, NFPA continues to serve as a global authority on fire, electrical, and life safety. Through initiatives such as NFPA LiNK 3.0 and its active participation in regional platforms like Intersec Dubai, the association aims to support safer, smarter communities through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and digital innovation.
