The Ministry of Federal National Council Affairs has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Higher Colleges of Technology to enhance the level of cooperation in the ongoing efforts to strengthen the culture of political participation and political awareness in the UAE.

The MoU signed by His Excellency Tariq Hilal Lootah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs, and H.E. It also reflects the Ministry’s keenness to improve parliamentary life in coordination with the government and the FNC to meet the aspirations of the citizens.

“The MoU is an effective step towards enhancing political awareness and culture of political participation among all segments of the society, especially young people and university students. Activities, events and seminars will be organized to motivate citizens to participate effectively in the comprehensive process under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai,” said H.E. Dr. Tayeb Kamali.

Based on the MoU, the two sides will implement programmes that contribute towards promoting a culture of political development in the state, exchanging expertise and experiences and preparing studies and joint research.
