Hamdan Bin Rashid Foundation Launches Training Phase for Fourth Cycle of Hamdan EFQM Global Educational Model and Award

The Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences has launched the training phase for the fourth cycle of the Hamdan EFQM Global Educational Model and Award, aimed at enhancing institutional excellence across participating schools. The training, which runs from January to April 2026, provides a structured framework to help schools implement international standards of educational excellence.

The programme is designed to give participating schools a comprehensive and practical understanding of the Model’s criteria, application mechanisms, and integration within institutional systems. Led by experts, the targeted training sessions focus on improving institutional readiness through systematic analysis and applied practice of excellence standards.

Dr. Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Foundation, emphasized that the training phase is a key component of the fourth cycle. It enables schools to gain a deeper understanding of institutional excellence standards and supports their progression toward the evaluation stage. He highlighted that embedding the Model’s culture and values helps expand the reach of educational quality and elevate high-performing schools to leading levels of distinction.

Schools from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kingdom of Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates are participating in this phase, reflecting the Model’s regional impact and its role in fostering a culture of institutional excellence across diverse educational systems.

The training phase will conclude with tailored support for schools to finalize submissions and upload documentation via the Foundation’s electronic platform in preparation for the evaluation phase, set to begin in October 2026.

This initiative reaffirms the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to advancing educational excellence and supporting schools in adopting globally recognized best practices to improve learning outcomes and institutional quality across the region.
