MBRF to Showcase Extensive Program at London Book Fair 2026

The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) is set to present an extensive program at the London Book Fair 2026, one of the world’s foremost events for the publishing and knowledge industries. Scheduled to take place from March 10 to 12, 2026, at Olympia London, the Foundation’s participation underscores its commitment to advancing the global knowledge ecosystem and expanding strategic partnerships with leading intellectual institutions.

The initiative aligns with the UAE’s vision to position itself as a global hub for knowledge creation, exchange, and innovation. Through its participation, MBRF aims to strengthen its international presence and reaffirm its role in promoting knowledge production and dissemination while driving dialogue on the future of knowledge globally.

His Excellency Jamal bin Huwaireb, CEO of MBRF, stated:

“We are delighted to continuously mark our presence at this premier global knowledge forum, which stands as one of the most distinguished platforms for intellectual exchange and book publishing. This year’s participation reflects our ongoing commitment to solidifying the UAE’s position on the global knowledge map and highlighting its remarkable achievements in fostering creativity and supporting intellectual excellence at all levels.”

During the fair, MBRF will spotlight several flagship initiatives and projects, including the Dubai International Program for Writing, KnowTalks, and the Future Skills Academy, which collectively aim to enhance knowledge production, support talent development, and promote innovation-driven learning. The Foundation will also present updates on its global knowledge indices and ongoing efforts to build sustainable knowledge societies.

Complementing its exhibition, MBRF’s Knowledge Lounge will host a series of thought-provoking sessions, such as “The Arabic Book through Foreign Eyes” with publisher Haitham Hussein, “Poetry and the Nostalgia of Language” with poet Faie Nasser, “Writing Away from Home” with novelist Hamdan Damaj, and “A Glimpse into Arabic Book Clubs in the UK.”

In addition, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Award (MBRKA) will organize a panel discussion titled “Giving Knowledge a Global Impact: The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Award.” The session will feature Dr. David M. Clark, an MBRKA recipient, and Professor Nick Rawlins, a member of the award’s Advisory Board.

MBRF’s participation at the London Book Fair 2026 serves as a pivotal platform to strengthen collaborations with global publishing houses, academic institutions, and research centers. It also aims to foster the exchange of expertise, explore new areas of cooperation, and create innovative initiatives that support knowledge-based development both regionally and internationally.
