JETRO Stimulates UAEs Appetite for Japanese Food in Readiness for this Years Gulfood Expo

The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) has introduced its participation in this year's Gulfood exhibition in a proposal to further boost Japan's food and beverage exports to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Following its mandate to promote common trade and investment in between the two countries, JETRO will be noting its Fifth involvement in the top food exhibit with an exclusive culinary show aimed at showcasing exactly how vast and functional Japanese ingredients are.

In 2017 food exports to the UAE were valued at US$ 37 million with meat exports such as the Wagyu (Japanese beef) registering a 25 percent growth compared with the previous year.
