Industry leaders unite at Huawei B2B Digital Innovation Forum during GITEX to drive AI-powered growth and collaboration

Huawei successfully hosted the “Grow Together, Win the AI Intelligent Era” Carrier B2B Digital Innovation Forum at the Dubai World Trade Centre during GITEX Global 2025. The event brought together telecom carriers, industry partners, technology experts, and enterprise leaders to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) can accelerate B2B digital transformation and redefine business success in the intelligent era.

The forum opened with a keynote address by David Shi, Vice President of ICT Marketing & Solution Sales at Huawei, who emphasized the company’s commitment to empowering carriers in the AI-driven B2B sector. “In the AI era, carriers must strengthen strategic positioning, develop ICT and AI talent, and leverage their connectivity and ecosystem advantages,” he said. “Through Huawei’s latest digital solutions and collaborative partnerships, we aim to drive B2B growth and create shared success.”

Wang Hui, President of Huawei’s NCE Data Communication Domain, followed with a presentation titled “Co-creating the Future of Carrier Enterprise Business in the AI Era.” He highlighted the rapid progress of Middle East carriers in enterprise services, noting that over 20 regional operators have adopted Huawei’s iMaster NCE platform for intelligent, cloud-managed network-as-a-service (NaaS). To address integration complexity and rising operational costs, Huawei introduced a dual-drive strategy combining AI-powered co-created solutions with the industry’s first AI agent, designed to enhance carrier-managed service experiences.

The forum also featured best-practice presentations from leading partners. Nanish Ali, Senior Manager of Managed Services at Ooredoo Qatar, shared the company’s digital transformation journey powered by 5G, cloud computing, and software-defined networks. This integrated approach, he explained, has unlocked new revenue opportunities and improved operational efficiency, helping clients fast-track their digital evolution.

A key highlight of the event was the 2025 ME&CA CEB Awards Ceremony, which recognised Huawei’s most innovative and visionary carrier partners for their achievements in digital co-creation and market impact—reinforcing the event’s “Grow Together” theme.

Adding further depth to the discussions, Bocar BA, CEO of the SAMENA Telecommunications Council, unveiled a new white paper titled “AI-Driven Visual Intelligence.” The report outlines how carriers can expand their role beyond traditional connectivity to capture emerging opportunities in visual data services and AI-driven solutions.

In his closing remarks, Eric Li, President of Product Portfolio Marketing Solution Sales Department at Huawei, stressed the importance of AI-enabled cloud platforms for telcos. “The AI-driven cloud platform is a core strategic asset that empowers agile solution deployment,” he said. “Through ecosystem co-creation, GPU-as-a-service innovation, and end-to-end MSP collaboration, we aim to lower AI adoption barriers and help operators evolve from connectivity providers to AI-driven digital service enablers.”

The forum concluded by reaffirming Huawei’s vision of shaping an intelligent, collaborative, and sustainable B2B ecosystem. By leveraging AI, cloud, and digital platforms, carriers are now positioned to unlock new value, drive innovation, and lead the region’s transition into the intelligent era.
