H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance presented the H.H. Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Honors for Excellence to 43 girls from GEMS Education schools across the UAE at a ceremony held at GEMS Dubai American Academy.

Released by GEMS Education in 2005, the awards are held under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Resistance, to honour the Mother of the Nation, Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, wife of the late Starting President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, for her payments to the empowerment of women in the UAE and her support for excellence in all areas.

Nominated by their colleges for their outstanding academic success, dedication to social obligation and global citizenship, the victors were each presented with a scholarship covering a year's tuition charge at their respective GEMS Education school and were identified throughout the ceremony.
