HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammeds surprise directive adds life to spectacular episode of El Beit

Episode 5 of El Beits second season aired at 9pm on Monday, December 8. The episode kicked off with friendly conversations between the judges and the shows host, Barakat Al Wagayan. The widely acclaimed show is organized and produced by Hamdan bin Mohammed Heritage Centre, and filming takes place in Dubai Studio City.

Adding another spectacular surprise this week and infusing more life into the show was a surprise directive by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, who requested the jury members to select five deserving chaters from the Silver Screen instead of four.

Mr Majid Abdul Rahman Al Bastaki, the shows General Coordinator said, We sincerely thank His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, for his continuous support and valuable follow-up in this program. His directions consistently bring unique concepts to the show and attract large numbers of exceptional chaters to the Golden Screen.
Mr Al Bastaki added: Al Ajaz (the second half of the poetic verse) has now been launched to replace the concept of the chater (first half of the poetic verse), meaning participants will now face even tougher competition. The audience can submit their Al Ajaz from 5pm, maximizing creativity and transparency.

The shows host Barakat Al Wagayan welcomed Faisal Al Otaibi from Saudi Arabia, who won the Nabd Al Soura Imagery Pulse competition. He was presented with a trophy and a cheque of AED 100,000. In addition, Abdullah Al Qahtani from Saudi Arabia was awarded a special trophy

and presented with a cheque of AED 100,000 for composing the winning chater in the previous episode.
Commenting on this special occasion, Faisal Al Otaibi said, El Beit is a true opportunity for amateur and professional poets to prove themselves, as it attracts more poets to participate.

Meanwhile Abdullah Al Qahtani praised the show for successfully attracting a massive number of Nabati poets: The show does not simply rely on viewers votes, but instead relies on the creative expertise of highly respected jury members to select the most deserving poets.
The co-host for El Beits second season, Emirati poet Ahmed Al Bidwawi, introduced this weeks guest, Mubarak Al Khalifa from Qatar, who is one of the most renowned Nabati poets. Expressing his delight, Al Khalifa said: I am a huge fan of the show and I have been keenly following it ever since it started. El Beit is truly a gift for poets and poetry enthusiasts, embracing well-known poets and connecting them with the audience of Nabati lovers. Sometimes writing a poetic verse can be even more challenging than writing an entire poem.

After receiving brilliant Ajaz (the second half of the poetic verse) of equal quality, the Guest of Honour selected the winner of the 5th episode from the Golden Screen: Fahad Al Aebani from Saudi Arabia, who won AED 200,000. This makes him the second winner of this caliber since the start of the season. His eloquence and ability to understand deeper meanings qualified him into the Grand Finale episode where he stands to win AED 1 million.

Last weeks Nabd Al Soura Imagery Pulse competition featured an image that was personally captured by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.
