Episode 4 of the second season of El Beit poetry show was aired at 9pm on Monday, December 1st. The episode was aligned with the UAEs 43rd National Day, creating an overwhelmingly festive atmosphere filled with patriotic pride, diversity and passionate declarations of love for the UAE homeland. El Beit poetry show is organized and produced by Hamdan bin Mohammed Heritage Centre, and filming takes place in Dubai Studio City.
The biggest surprise of the evening was a special announcement from His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, honouring twelve poets from the Golden Screen and ten from the Nabd Al Soura, whose chaters were deemed to be exceptional. This follows an evaluation by the judges, assessing all the submitted chaters to select the ones that best captured the spirit of National Day.

On the special occasion of the UAEs 43rd National Day, Majid Abdul Rahman Al Bastaki, the shows General Coordinator said: I would like to express our deep appreciation for the generosity of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. The Golden Screen and Nabd Al Soura competitions have brought a great smile to all our hearts on the UAEs most treasured day: National Day.

Ahmed Al Bidwawi, the shows co-host added: I thank Hamdan bin Mohammed Heritage Centre for placing such trust in me and welcoming me into the shows family. The shows vision is very modern, uniquely bringing Nabati poetry to life by using the latest innovations to showcase our poetic talents.

The shows host, Barakat Al Wagayan welcomed Nasser Al Subaie from Saudi Arabia, who composed the winning chater in the previous episode. He was awarded a special trophy and presented with a cheque for AED 100,000. Maram Al Qahtani - also from Saudi Arabia - won the Nabd Al Soura competition and although she was unable to attend, she was presented in absentia with a trophy and AED 100,000 cheque. This was received on her behalf by Fatma Aarif Al Bannay, Media Office Manager at Hamdan bin Mohammed Heritage Centre.

Commenting on this special occasion, Nasser Al Subaie explained: I felt immense excitement and pride when I realized my chater had won first place.

Meanwhile Fatma Aarif Al Bannay, Media Office Manager at Hamdan bin Mohammed Heritage Centre, was delighted by a special milestone: I am very pleased that a female poet has finally won on this show. I hope all women who love Nabati poetry will follow in Marams footsteps and participate in upcoming episodes.

The co-host for the second season, Emirati poet Ahmed Al Bidwawi, introduced the 4th Episodes Guest of Honour: Hamed Zaid from Kuwait, who is one of the most well-known poets of his generation. Zaid commented: I am very proud and delighted to be invited as a Guest of Honour on this show, particularly during the UAEs 43rd National Day celebrations. On this special day I would like to wish the citizens and leaders of the UAE everlasting prosperity and harmony.

He concluded: The continuous support on this show by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, is a live example of how poets can be inspired to compete in a transparent, creative and unique show that promotes poetic talents.
After intense deliberations, the judging panels were deadlocked on who should be crowned the winner of the 4th episode, having received chaters of equal quality that conveyed a deep love of the UAE. In accordance with the rules, the Guest of Honour Hamed Zaid broke the tie on the jurys behalf, and his selected chater on the Golden Screen was by Abdullah Al Qahtani from Saudi Arabia, who won AED 100,000. His creative use of deep concepts and rhythm qualified him for the Grand Finale episode, where he stands to win AED 1 million.

Last weeks Nabd Al Soura Imagery Pulse competition featured an image that was personally captured by the lens of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. The first prize of AED 100,000 went to Faisal Al Otaibi, who qualified for the Grand Finale episode and an opportunity to win AED 1 million. Two runners-up each won AED 50,000: Attallah Mamdouh and Abdullah Al Mutairi. They both also received a surprise bonus prize of AED 100,000 from His Highness Sheikh Hamdan, giving them a total of AED 150,000 each although they are not eligible to participate in the final episode.
