Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, underscored the critical importance of bolstering water security to foster stability and support social and economic prosperity on a global scale.

On World Water Day, Dr. Al Dahak emphasized, "Water stands as the cornerstone of life itself, facilitating societal stability, the advancement of civilizations, and the attainment of prosperity. As the most precious resource on our planet, water serves as a vital nexus connecting humanity, sustenance, ecosystems, and climate. Yet, we are confronted with formidable challenges stemming from water scarcity. Projections indicate that by 2025, half of the world's population will dwell in regions grappling with water shortages. Hence, this year's World Water Day theme, 'Water for Peace', underscores the imperative to swiftly devise sustainable solutions to water-related dilemmas in the most afflicted regions, ensuring global equilibrium."

Dr. Al Dahak further stated, "The UAE acknowledges the significant global predicament posed by water scarcity. His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, spearheads considerable endeavors to cultivate sustainable remedies for universal access to fresh water, particularly in highly affected regions. His Highness's pivotal role in advancing international collaboration in this sphere is commendable. The recent launch of the Mohamed bin Zayed Water Initiative exemplifies His Highness's commitment not only to addressing water crises worldwide but also to fostering peace and stability for all humankind."

Concluding her remarks, Dr. Al Dahak affirmed, "At MOCCAE, we remain steadfast in our commitment to adopting more sustainable approaches to water usage, particularly through the utilization of modern agricultural technology.
