Gulf Navigation Maritime, a part of Gulf Navigation Holding PJSC (DFM: GULFNAV), the Dubai-based shipping company, had signed an agreement with Dana Gas, the Middle Easts leading private sector natural gas company, to provide complete logistic, transportation, marine, and passenger/crew handling services for the Zora Gas Field project. Dana Gas is currently engaged in the development of gas production in the Zora Gas Field located 30 km from Sharjah and the Ajman coastline at a depth of 82 feet. It will produce and supply gas to Sharjah via an onshore processing facility.

Under the terms of agreement, Gulf Navigation Maritime provides marine and port services, including a dedicated fully-manned crew boat/guard vessel for patrolling the offshore jacket, close coordination with the port authority for vessel registration and berthing plan, vessel brokerage, and diving operation permits. It also undertakes customs clearance for air and sea shipments from vendor base to the Hamriyah Free Zone and vice versa as well as immigration clearance process such as vessel registration, crew change, and visa arrangements.

Gulf Navigation Maritime also provides passenger-handling service at Dubai World Central, which includes meet and assist services on departures and arrivals, transport from/to airport or hotel, and escort of officials. In addition, it extends transportation and logistics support, including coordination with the vendor transport company for timely delivery of goods for custom clearance. Lastly, it makes all the arrangements for transport as per requirement and return to vendors within the UAE.
