Ford Expands Middle East & North Africa Operations with New Leadership and Strategic Integration
In a landmark move that reaffirms its commitment to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, Ford Motor Company has announced a strategic realignment of its regional operations, integrating North Africa into the MENA network and expanding leadership roles to boost its footprint in Saudi Arabia and beyond.
The changes reflect Ford’s long-term investment in the region and are part of its ongoing efforts to enhance customer experience, grow market share, and respond dynamically to emerging opportunities in key markets.
Regional Integration and Leadership Appointments
Effective June 1, 2025, Ramzy Hadi has been appointed Managing Director of Ford Middle East & North Africa, bringing over a decade of experience and a strong operational background to lead the company’s regional strategy and distributor partnerships.
Amith Shetty, formerly Head of Ford Saudi Arabia, takes on an expanded role as Regional Director for Saudi Arabia and North Africa, supporting Ford’s vision for integrated regional leadership. Meanwhile, Khodr Dahoud has been promoted to Regional Manager of Sales, North Africa, with a focus on expanding sales performance and customer reach across key North African markets from the company’s Riyadh base.
Enhancing Aftersales and Customer Experience
To improve customer satisfaction and the ownership experience, Nicolas Lory has been named Aftersales Director, Middle East & North Africa, and Hamzeh Shalan as Aftersales Lead for Saudi Arabia & North Africa. These appointments support Ford’s drive to offer quicker, more reliable services across the region.
“Our growing team in Riyadh reflects our commitment to meeting market needs with greater agility,” said Ravi Ravichandran, President of Ford Middle East and North Africa. “By placing strong leadership across Saudi Arabia, North Africa, the Levant, and Qatar, we are building the structure to serve our customers and partners more effectively.”
Growing Presence in Saudi Arabia
Ford’s relationship with Saudi Arabia, which dates back to the 1940s with Aramco’s use of Ford vehicles, continues to deepen. Building on its partnerships with Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies and Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors (MYNM), Ford plans to establish its first-ever Limited Liability Company (LLC) in the MENA region—based in Saudi Arabia—by the end of 2025. The LLC will enable enhanced digital connectivity, localized services, and a more seamless ownership experience.
Record Sales and Regional Growth
Ford recorded a strong start to 2025, with Q1 sales up 23% year-on-year, continuing a trend of record-breaking performance from 2024. This positions Ford as one of the fastest-growing original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the region.
State-of-the-Art Distribution Capabilities
Further bolstering operations, Ford recently inaugurated a new Parts Distribution Center in Dubai, significantly improving regional inventory and delivery efficiency. The 41,792-square-meter facility stores up to 100,000 parts, nearly doubling the company’s distribution footprint since 2011 and enhancing service to the growing customer base across the Middle East and North Africa.
