Around billion dollars worth of products were exported by Brazil to Arab countries in April this year been reported by The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC). $980.4 million was recorded during the first month of the second quarter, an increase of 40.3% over the same month of the previous year which represented a general total of around 2.7 million tons.

The figures posted so far can be seen as the best exporting month for Brazil since 2014. The ABCC reveals that the bulk of the products were exported to the UAE, recording around $239.15 million. Comes next the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) with $177.2 million and Egypt with around $92.8 million. The value of exports to Oman and Bahrain reached $63.49 million and $51.7 million respectively.

Bovine meat, coffee, soya-bean oil, petroleum oils, soda or sulfate, plastering materials, lime & cement, fish, organic chemicals, beet sugar, corn, iron ores, aircraft, satellites and concentrates are some of the top exported products that were recorded in April.
