ENOC Group, the official integrated energy partner of Expo 2020 Dubai, today announced the opening of its 131st Service Station in Al Al Warqaa, Dubai. With state-of-the-art technology and innovative features, the service station will serve customers living near Al Warqaa. It also includes several retail offerings, including Zoom, Bronto and Drive-Through Popeyes.

His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO, ENOC, said: The opening of our new service station highlights our commitment to strengthen our retail presence across the UAE. Our goal is to expand our network to 191 service stations in the lead up to Expo 2020 Dubai, which will significantly add to the ease with which customers can access their fuel and convenience-store needs.

To use solar energy, the station has photovoltaic (PV) solar panels on the roof canopy, which can generate 150 kilowatts of energy on a good day. This marks the group's 17th solar-powered service station.

The station is designed in accordance with international best practices for the retail fuel industry and in compliance with the Dubai Municipal Green Building Regulations (Al Safat). Eight new-generation fuel dispensers and four fuel tanks at this service station ensure continuous supply of fuel. The station also has an electric vehicle charging station.

The fuel system is fully automated with Auto-Tank Measurement and Electronic Leak Detection System, while an advanced vapour recovery system ensures that 70 percent of the vapour is recovered to fuel. The dispensers are built with pullable hoses to enable refueling vehicles from both sides to reduce waiting time inside the station.

Among other sustainability features, the station uses UL certified dual wall tanks and dual wall fuel pipes to mitigate any environmental pollution. The LED lighting used are not only environmentally friendly, but also they require zero maintenance and protection against electrical and fire hazards. The LED lighting can contribute to a 50 percent reduction in energy bill. Furthermore, air conditioning reduces energy consumption by 35 percent using modern VRF technology.

Digital displays in the ZOOM Store provide customers with the latest updates on product promotions and deals. The store Set in an area of over 3,000 square feet, has more than 7,500 products and offers customers all the standard services such as utility and credit card payments, Salik Top-Up and FlyDubai Booking payments.

Customers can buy confectionary, snacks and a variety of soft drinks on this site. Many organic products are for sale. All payment methods are accepted including VIP, ENOC Pay, NOL, Dubai Smart Government, Dubai Now, Credit Card and Cash.
