ENOC Group Demonstrates Leadership In Health, Safety And Environment (HSE) Performance

ENOC Group has announced a robust performance in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) throughout its operations in the previous year, ranked within the top quartile throughout the oil and gas industry.

The leading integrated energy player recorded a lost time frequency incident rate (LTIFR) of 0.1 and a total reportable incident rate (TRIFR); attaining Zero tier one process safety incidents and transported fuel by road over 9 million kilometres; demonstrating overall improved HSE best practices.

Furthermore, EMGAS, a subsidiary of ENOC Group, effectively secured a 5-star rating from the British Safety Council (BSC), underlining the Groups dedication to HSE and its sustained development throughout the whole business.

The Group has also announced a further step in underlining its dedication to HSE throughout the business via the launch of a HSE campaign; aimed at transferring mindsets within the Group; that HSE is everyones responsibility. The campaign also goals to embed a HSE above all culture throughout all parts of the business.

This present day achievement comes at a time when the industry is going through extraordinary change due to market dynamics, which often impacts corporate governance priorities such as HSE. We launched this campaign to display our HSE-above all approach, making sure persisted collaboration and compliance for the advantage of our people, our business practices and of course, the wider community.

The HSE campaign comprises the adoption of the International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (IOGP) Nine-life Saving Rules, which are cardinal to saving lives in the industry via the prevention of incidents. The Group has also committed to a structured Annual Segment HSE business plan, which includes 18 focus areas, that will provide guidance and direction on managing HSE in a unified and structured manner. This strategy will allow ENOC to measure and manipulate HSE performance throughout its business to mitigate risks.
