Emirates College of Technology honors 500 students at the 22nd Annual Graduation Ceremony

Emirates College of Technology (ECT) celebrated yesterday (23rd of April) its 22nd graduation ceremony (Year of Tolerance Batch) at the Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi; honoring more than 500 students for their outstanding achievements.

The graduation ceremony was presided over by President of ECT, Professor Abdul Rahim Sabouni, with Sheikh Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Khalid Al Nahyan attending the event as a guest of honor. The VIP guest list included ECT Board of Trustees, Ambassadors, CEOs, strategic partners and other prominent figures in the education industry. It was an opportunity to celebrate and honor ECTs 22nd cohort of students, many of whom have shown incredible commitment to their studies.

Inauguration address was given by Professor Sabouni, addressing graduate students and faculty members, attributing the universitys success to the progressive education policies set by the UAE Government, and the continuous support and innovation shown by the Abu Dhabi government endorsing the Emirates ambition and continual strive towards bringing significant qualitative improvement in the education system; specifically in the way teachers teach and students learn. Professor Sabouni further talked about diversity in education and paid a special importance on the challenges and opportunities presented by the fourth industrial revolution and how the university is tackling the fields of the 21st century to ensure students are equipped with essential skills allowing them to succeed in their chosen careers.

Our graduation ceremony marked the culmination of months of hard work for our graduate students. It was a delightful day celebrating our students achievements of our 22nd cohort, and we are proud to see graduates and colleagues share in celebration and reflect on what has been achieved over the last year. said Professor Abdul Rahim Sabouni, Acting President & CEO of Emirates College of Technology. ECT takes great pride in the achievements of its students. In this Year of Tolerance we want our students to leave us equipped with real life skills that will not only enable them to succeed in jobs of the future, but will allow them to become exemplary human beings. Graduates across all programs; Management, Industrial Management, HR, IT, Banking and Finance, Accounting, PR and Mass Communication in PR and Advertising, Journalism; received their diplomas and bachelor degrees, with top students graduating with a distinction, receiving a special honor.

ECT has an inspiring history of notable past students. The Universitys recent graduates continue to do well year on year and enjoy successful careers in different industries. ECT has been recognized for its industry standard facilities, high quality curriculum and bachelor programs catering to both local and international markets.
