Emaars Golden Age Group residents tour At the Top, Burj Khalifa

Twenty-seven members of the Golden Age Group, consisting of elderly residents from The Greens and The Views communities of Emaar Properties, toured At the Top, Burj Khalifa. They visited Levels 124 and 125 of the iconic attraction and were given a detailed insight into the construction and design of the worlds tallest building.

The tour was arranged by Emaar Community Management (ECM) as a thank you gesture for their valuable contribution to the community. Ahmad Al Falasi, Executive Director Group Operations, Emaar Properties PJSC, presented a memento to Naseem Durrani, one of the founding members of the Golden Age Group. Jeevan J. D Mello, Senior Director of ECM welcomed the members.

The Golden Age Group was formed with the aim of engaging senior citizens through a range of community events. It has a dedicated office in The Greens and The Views that is equipped with blood pressure and blood sugar monitoring equipment, among other facilities. A special budget has been allocated from the Community Service Fee funds for the group that is used to maintain the office and arrange various events, as a mark of fostering the true spirit of community living.

ECM has also made provisions for a priority counter at the community supermarket as well as special discounts at the community pharmacy. Members of the group can also avail of the free bus service connecting The Greens and The Views with the Dubai Internet City Metro Station. Regular outings and discussion sessions are held for the members to foster interaction and an active social life.

The Golden Age Group meets regularly at the Al Thayyal function room in the community. Elderly residents in The Greens and The Views who would like to join the Golden Age Group, can contact: communities@ecm.ae
