Ellington Properties' interior design specialist offers advice to American University in Dubai

Ellington Properties, an award-winning design-led boutique developer, has partnered with American University in Dubai (AUD) to offer expert advice to its group of interior design students under the company's Art Foundation. The Foundation was launched in 2017 with the goal of creating meaningful art by engaging with local talent.

Since many students had the opportunity to present their portfolios to Ellington Properties, a senior manager of interior design, the initiative was aimed at third-year students of AUD's School of Architecture, Arts and Design. Laura Bielecki provided expert opinions and insights on ways to improve and improve their work. This initiative is to be launched every year.

Laura Bielecki said: It was encouraging to see such creative talents and high quality work coming out of AUD's School of Architecture, Art, and Design. It is also inspiring to be able to offer advice and support to the next generation of creative talents in Dubai. The Ellington Art Foundation was set up with the goal of designing artists and providing guidance when entering their respective work areas. Part of this effort is to showcase photographs and sketches of talented student artists in our developments in Dubai.

In addition to collaborating with AUD, the Ellington Art Foundation has previously partnered with Sharjah University students in the American University, in particular the Department of Interior Design and Photography for Belgravia II. The project features an art installation designed and executed by the students. They have also provided more than 90 photographs decorating the residential development, which will become a thriving community.

Ellington Properties prioritizes the design of its growing projects, such as Belgravia Heights II and Jumeirah Village Circle in Belgravia Square, Wilton Terraces in MPR City and Wilton Park Apartments and DT1 in Downtown Dubai.
