Ducab Breaks Ground on new Headquarters Facility While Honoring Year of Zayed

Ducab has begun on its new global headquarters building in JebelAli. The ground-breaking ceremony was participated in by Eng. Jamal Salem Al Dhaheri, Chairman of Ducab; Dr. Ahmad bin Hassan Al Shaikh, Vice Chairman of Ducab; Mabkhoot Al Menhali, Ducab board member and Andrew Shaw, Managing Director at Ducab alongside Richard Beard, Managing Director of Ramboll Middle East and Asia; and John E. Alford, Group Managing Director Jasaf Building Technology Company LLC.

The new Ducab headquarters will be environmentally responsive, developed to achieve a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold accreditation when completed in 2019. The three-storey headquarters facility will certainly have an overall built-up area of 4,053 square metres, with a roof deck garden. Along with its dedication to environmental preservation, Ducab will certainly echo the location's indigenous plant by developing a tree hacienda together with the center motivated by the memory of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, that was a avid environmentalist.
