AETOSWire and RoadSafetyUAE Launch Awareness Campaign for Ramadan

AETOSWire, the news circulation arm of NSG and exclusive rep of BusinessWire, a Berkshire Hathaway company, in the MENA region, joined hands with RoadSafetyUAE, an effort that eventually intends to produce more secure roadways in the region, in launching the Road Security Awareness Project throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Stats showed that throughout Ramadan the percentage of traffic accidents crashes are particularly high because of the challenges postured by fasting like exhaustion, fatigue, impatience, and distraction to name a few, for this reason the factor behind the project.

Mr. Thomas Edelmann, Founder and Managing Director of RoadSafetyUAE, conveys, "I'm passionate regarding this campaign as I believe that by just getting words out there can make a significant distinction in lowering the variety of roadway accidents this Ramadan. This is why the project will wear down all communication channels to get the message across to all road participants."

Along with this, the Roadway Security Campaign will use popular social media sites platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram to get the word out by offering tips on road safety while fasting and get the target markets actively involved using the hashtag "#HappyNotHastyRamadan".
