Dubai Startup Hub, an initiative of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has introduced that it is arranging the first-ever Dubai Modern technology Tour, which aims to drive UAE-India collaboration in the locations of fintech and health tech.

The digital trade objective, scheduled for the 2nd week of September, will certainly see 15 business owners standing for promising Indian scale-ups to get in touch with appropriate UAE stakeholders, including investors, corporates, and peer scale-ups, pitch their organisations and also participate in company matchmaking sessions arranged by Dubai Chamber.

The Dubai Technology Tour, organised in partnership with Startup India and Mumbai Fintech Hub, will familiarise delegates with Dubai's economy and business environment, as well as the competitive advantages that the emirate offers start-ups and scale-ups specialising in advanced technologies. Besides, the initiative positions Dubai as a preferred hub for Indian entrepreneurs who are bringing innovative business concepts to market.

Indian business owners keen on joining the Dubai Technology Tour will have until August 5th to register their interest online. The initiative is a continuation of Dubai Startup Hub's efforts to attract high-potential Indian start-ups and scale-ups, offering cutting-edge solutions that support Dubai's innovation strategy as well as a shift to a knowledge-based economic climate. These efforts began last year when Dubai Start-up Center organised a roadshow to New Delhi and Bangalore in cooperation with Dubai Technology Entrepreneur Campus (Dtec), the largest hub of its kind in the region and wholly-owned by Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA), where two Indian start-ups were selected as part of a competition and awarded office space at Dtec.

Developed by Dubai Chamber in 2016, Dubai Startup Hub is the first initiative of its kind in the centre East as well as North Africa region. The centre has been made to focus the worth of public and also economic sector cooperation and symbolises the objective of motivating innovation and also entrepreneurship as a major vehicle driver of the economy of Dubai as well as the UAE.
