Dubai South and MOHAP Sign Cooperation Agreement to Support Setup of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Plants

Dubai South has authorized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) as part of its efforts to strengthen teamwork with the pharmaceutical market as well as enable pharmaceutical business to benefit from the possibilities to operate within Dubai South. The MOU belongs to a shared commitment between the two entities targeted at accomplishing federal government integration in line with the UAE Vision 2021. It intends to offer a single framework for developing the procedures for releasing certificate as well as registration for pharmaceutical manufacturers in Dubai South. The arrangement seeks to advertise the implementation of regulation for the pharmaceutical and clinical equipment industry. The MoU was signed by H.E. Dr. Amin Hussein Al Amiri, Aide Undersecretary for Public Health Policy and also Licensing workplace, Chairman of Supreme Pharmacovigilance Committee at MOHAP as well as Mohsen Ahmad, Chief Executive Officer of Logistics District at Dubai South.
