Dubai Marina Yacht Club appoints James Knight-Pacheco as new Executive Chef

Dubai Marina Yacht Club, one of the renowned private yacht clubs in the Middle East, has appointed James Knight-Pacheco as its new Executive Chef, responsible for all culinary operations.

Knight-Pacheco brings over 14 years of experience to the table after working with some of the finest restaurants in the UK as well as with esteemed celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, the double Michelin starred restaurant The Square in London, and with famous French chef, Raymond Blanc, at the world-renowned Le Manoir aux QuatSaisons in the village of Great Milton near Oxford, in Oxfordshire, England. He has also worked with Michael Caines MBE, Michelin-starred Chef Jason Atherton, renowned culinary consultant Peter Gorton and top-class Executive Chef Andr Garrett.

He has seen his career go international as Chef de Cuisine at Sense on the Edge part of the Six Senses Resort and Spa in Zighy Bay, Oman.

Knight-Pacheco also has extensive experience in a variety of media roles. He featured in two prime time BBC shows, and in Out of the Frying Pan, a series aired in the UK, Singapore, Australia, US, Russia and Denmark, on BBC Lifestyle Worldwide.

Other television appearances include Market Kitchen and The Restaurant. He has been featured in Come Together, Eat Together and BBC Good Food Guide, and conducted live demonstrations at exclusive events such as the BBC Good Show, Taste of London Westfields Shopping Centre and the annual Thermomix Demonstrators Conference.

Having earlier worked as a Chef in Michelin starred restaurants, Demonstrator, Chef Tutor and Executive Chef at prestigious venues, he has deep knowledge and insights on all aspects of restaurant operations with a focus on assuring the highest standards in quality and world-class customer service.
