Dubai Customs organises an open market at Umm Suqeim 2 harbour

Fishermen Harbours team at Dubai Customs has organised an open market at Umm Suqeim 2 harbour, developed by Dubai Customs as part of its Fishermen Harbours Development Project which was aimed at supporting traditional fishermen, improving their everyday life, and reviving the UAEs rich heritage .

As many as 30 exhibitors of various nationalities took part in the market, which displayed clothing, footwear, antiques, gifts, accessories and handicrafts.

The market witnessed a high level of attendance of both residents and tourists to this tourist attraction landmark. Meanwhile, exhibitors expressed gratitude to DCs initiative, support and encouragement in granting them the chance to better market and sell their products.
The Fishermen Harbours Development Project reflects Dubai Governments vision to make Dubai the destination of choice for tourists looking for relaxation and amusement in a safe environment. The project adds to the emirates impressive portfolio of tourist attractions.
