DistriMart and GulfMed Supply Become Exclusive Distributor of SC Johnson Products in Syria

DistriMart and GulfMed Supply, subsidiaries of Dishley Holding, have announced the signing of a strategic distribution agreement with SC Johnson Consumer Brand, marking a significant step in expanding multinational FMCG presence in the Syrian Arab Republic.

Under the agreement, DistriMart will oversee the distribution and sales of SC Johnson’s consumer brand portfolio in Syria. This milestone partnership introduces globally recognized products such as Raid®, Glade®, Ziploc®, and Mr Muscle® to the Syrian market—representing the first entry of multinational household care brands into the country.

The signing ceremony took place in Doha, Qatar, between Mohammad Al-Khayyat, Chairman of Dishley Holding, representing DistriMart/GulfMed Supply, and Mohammed Almoghazi, Country Manager for North Africa & Levant at SC Johnson. The event was attended by Mohamad Chwiki, CEO of DistriMart.

SC Johnson is a globally trusted multinational specializing in household cleaning, storage solutions, air care, pest control, and shoe care products. Its partnership with DistriMart is expected to strengthen product accessibility and enhance consumer options across Syria.

Commenting on the agreement, Mohammad Al-Khayyat stated, “This partnership with a leading multinational company sets a foundation for structured brand growth and sustainable market development in the region. By introducing high-quality, internationally trusted products, we aim to enhance consumer choice and elevate the standards of household goods available locally.”

Echoing this sentiment, Mohammed Almoghazi added, “We have high hopes for the Syrian market’s rapid recovery and see great potential for growth through this collaboration.”
