On the sidelines of the 45th edition of GITEX Global in Dubai, Digital Dubai has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Oracle to organize and implement a series of collaborative initiatives that support Dubai’s ongoing digital transformation. The agreement underscores both entities’ commitment to building digital capabilities and equipping government professionals with future-ready skills.

The MoU focuses on joint efforts in training and skills development, with both parties set to design and implement specialized programs for Digital Dubai employees. These initiatives aim to enhance work methodologies, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen the digital competencies of government teams.

Furthermore, the partnership includes cooperation on smart community initiatives, which will involve the development of training programs for both Dubai Government employees and residents. These initiatives are designed to enhance digital literacy, promote innovation, and nurture a forward-thinking digital culture across the Emirate.

As part of the collaboration, Digital Dubai and Oracle will also work together in the areas of artificial intelligence and digital innovation to develop practical use cases that enhance business processes and user experiences.

Commenting on the agreement, H.E. Tariq Al Janahi, CEO of the Corporate Empowerment Sector at Digital Dubai, stated:
