DHL Aviation, the air transport division of DHL Express, has unveiled Xcelerate, a premium airport-to-airport cargo service aimed at enhancing speed, reliability, and customer satisfaction. This fast-track product is designed to meet growing demand for expedited logistics solutions, offering guaranteed capacity and significantly reduced transit times.

Xcelerate caters to freight forwarders and major shippers requiring urgent deliveries, enabling immediate booking confirmations and last-minute cargo acceptance close to flight departures. The product prioritizes cargo with high loading precedence and ensures swift release upon arrival—meaning shipments that arrive last are among the first to be recovered.

A key feature of the Xcelerate service is the end-to-end oversight provided by a dedicated customer service team, who will monitor shipments and deliver proactive email notifications throughout the cargo’s journey—ensuring transparency and peace of mind.

The launch of Xcelerate also supports DHL’s long-term environmental goals. The service includes a mandatory Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) surcharge, reinforcing DHL's commitment to sustainability. The initiative is in line with the company’s targets of achieving over 30% SAF blending by 2030 and net-zero emissions by 2050.
