CEO of Etihad ESCO, Ali Al Jassim’s Statement on World Environment Day 2018

"As consumption of resources maintain rising at unprecedented rates, it is necessary to remember that these resources are non-replenishable. Careless consumption and various everyday practices that contaminate the atmosphere can irreversibly damage them, thereby robbing our future generations of the advantages our ancestors passed on to us. We are honored with rich biodiversity in the surrounding Arabian Gulf, which houses a varied marine ecological community. Plastic contamination has emerged as among the greatest environmental difficulties of our time and the influence of this environmental destruction on human lives and various other lifeforms can be very detrimental. It is high time we resolve the unsafe results of single-use plastic on the environment and take on way of livings that are much more harmony to the nature."
