Carrefour opens 5,000 square metre fulfilment centre with Majid Al Futtaim

Visible from planes landing at the neighbouring Dubai International Flight terminal, the Al Garhoud fulfilment centre covers 5,000 square metres.

The centre was integrated in 5 weeks in reaction to the exponential growth in online purchasing following the COVID-19 pandemic.

It handles as much as 3,000 daily orders, which will slowly increase to 5,000 requests per day, and is operational 24/7. 

The centre is staffed by over 250 colleagues, meeting clients' demands with a variety of over 8,000 essential grocery store items.
