Brink’s and Meedaf Announce Strategic Joint Venture to Transform Cash and ATM Services in the UAE

Brink’s, a global leader in cash and valuables management, digital retail solutions, and ATM managed services, has entered into a landmark joint venture with Meedaf, an ADGM-licensed financial services platform launched in April 2025. This strategic alliance aims to redefine cash management and ATM operations across the UAE and the wider GCC region.

As the first strategic partnership in the MENA region operating on the Meedaf platform, the Brink’s-Meedaf joint venture is poised to deliver a new era of innovation, security, and efficiency to the financial services sector. By combining Brink’s global infrastructure and operational expertise with Meedaf’s regional knowledge and advanced platform, the collaboration will enable financial institutions to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.

The joint venture will offer a full suite of integrated services, including:

  • Cash-in-transit and money processing,

  • ATM managed services,

  • Digital retail solutions such as deposit machines, cash recyclers, and self-service kiosks.

By leveraging advanced technology and data-driven systems, the alliance will introduce optimized route planning, intelligent crew deployment, and high-performance cash center management—core strengths of Brink’s global operations now embedded within Meedaf’s offerings.

Nader Antar, Executive Vice President and President of Brink’s IMEA and APAC, as well as Brink’s Global Services, said:

“We are excited to collaborate with Meedaf to establish a truly transformative model for the region. Our goal is to introduce innovative services that bridge physical and digital commerce, set new industry standards, and create unmatched value for our clients in cash management and ATM operations.”

The partnership also reflects Brink’s continued commitment to integrating advanced solutions for smarter financial services. The combined capabilities are expected to deliver consistent, secure, and cost-efficient outcomes, allowing financial institutions to focus on core business areas while outsourcing complex operational requirements to an expert alliance.

Eng. Abdulla Abdul Aziz AlShamsi, Managing Director at Meedaf, emphasized the venture’s strategic significance:

“Our partnership with Brink’s is a powerful testament to Meedaf’s mission to revolutionize financial services through innovation and collaboration. By integrating Brink’s proven global systems with our regional platform, we are setting a new benchmark in operational efficiency, security, and digital transformation. This is a major leap toward building a more resilient and agile financial ecosystem in the UAE and beyond.”

Following its UAE launch, the joint venture is expected to expand across key GCC markets, supporting Meedaf’s regional growth strategy and Brink’s continued leadership in global cash management services.

This collaboration represents a pivotal advancement for the financial sector in the Middle East, offering a comprehensive solution that aligns with the region’s growing demand for smart infrastructure, fintech integration, and secure cash ecosystems.
