Black & Veatch Unveils Comprehensive Hydrogen and Sustainable Energy Solutions at ADIPEC 2024
Black & Veatch, a global leader in engineering, construction, and advisory for sustainable infrastructure, is set to showcase its advanced solutions in hydrogen, renewable energy, and decarbonization at the ADIPEC 2024 conference in Abu Dhabi from November 4-7. The company’s presence underscores its commitment to helping Middle Eastern energy companies accelerate decarbonization and enhance resilience in their operations.
Youssef Merjaneh, Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Europe, Middle East, and Africa, emphasized Black & Veatch's unique experience in delivering low-carbon infrastructure safely and on schedule. Merjaneh will be a featured panelist at the Hydrogen Conference on November 6, discussing the Middle East's emerging role in low-carbon hydrogen production. Currently, Black & Veatch is actively involved in the global energy transition, building 365 megawatts of electrolysis capacity, which will more than double the world's hydrogen production capacity by 2025.
Black & Veatch also introduces its Strategic Advisory and Lifecycle Resiliency division at ADIPEC, with Charlie Sanchez as the newly appointed President. Sanchez will present at ADIPEC’s Finance & Investment Conference on November 5, where he’ll address “Proving bankability of innovative clean energy projects and technologies.” The new division combines advisory services with infrastructure resiliency, including capital planning, cybersecurity, O&M support, and PMO-as-a-service.
“There are no serious conversations about the energy transition without addressing the bankability and resilience of sustainable infrastructure investments,” said Sanchez, highlighting the growing interest in funding alternative and sustainable projects across the region.
Black & Veatch invites stakeholders to explore its extensive portfolio at ADIPEC 2024.
