AURAK and WSU Sign Student Transfer Program

The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) signed a a participation arrangement with Wayne State University (WSU) of Detroit, Michigan of the United States, developing the U.S.-based university into its latest worldwide partner.

The agreement, which was initiated by AURAK's School of Engineering and the School of Engineering, is centered on a Transfer Student Program in which students can earn college levels from AURAK and WSU simultaneously.

The Transfer Student program is split right into two stages. In the initial phase AURAK trainees need to complete three years of a four-year, pre-approved engineering program with a 3.0 quality factor average and/or remain in the leading quartile during their very first 3 years of researches along with satisfy the language effectiveness level called for by WSU. These trainees will be allowed to transfer to WSU for phase two to fulfill two years of a pre-approved educational program. Throughout the initial year at WSU, the students will certainly complete sixteen hours of coursework and an undergraduate senior research project. During the second year the students will either full sixteen hours of coursework or eight hours certainly job and 8 hours of Master's Thesis Research project. Currently AURAK has a series of international partners throughout Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America, opening a large spectrum of possibilities to pupils including exchange and research study abroad programs for approximately one year, as well as shorter summertime sessions.
