The groundbreaking C1 Championship, the first-ever camel racing series led entirely by female jockeys, is set to make its much-anticipated return on 8 November at the Dubai Camel Race Track in Al Marmoom. The event will bring together talented jockeys from around the world — including New Zealand, Germany, France, Russia, and the UAE — as they compete for the coveted championship title. The competition will feature five thrilling races, where participants will earn points based on their finishing positions. The jockey with the highest total score at the end of the series will be crowned the overall champion. Spectators can look forward to fast-paced relays across a 1,200-metre flat course, showcasing both the athletic prowess of the camels and the skill of the women riders leading them. The event aims to highlight the growing role of women in traditional Emirati sports while promoting inclusivity and innovation within camel racing.
