UAE Petrol and Diesel Prices for March 2026 Announced

The UAE Fuel Price Committee has officially released the retail fuel prices that will apply from March 1, 2026, reversing a two-month decline in petrol and diesel rates as prices rise moderately for the new month. The monthly adjustments reflect changes in global oil markets, a system in place since the UAE deregulated fuel prices in 2015 to align pump rates with international benchmarks.

Under the new pricing structure:

  • Super 98 petrol is set at Dh 2.59 per litre, up from Dh 2.45 in February.

  • Special 95 petrol will cost Dh 2.48 per litre, compared to Dh 2.33 last month.

  • E-Plus 91 petrol will be priced at Dh 2.40 per litre, above the Dh 2.26 rate in February.

  • Diesel will be charged at Dh 2.72 per litre, an increase from Dh 2.52 previously.

These adjustments come after global crude prices climbed in January and February amid geopolitical tensions and supply concerns, which typically feed into monthly retail fuel reviews.

In recent months, petrol and diesel costs in the UAE had trended downward, providing temporary relief at the pump, but the rebound in international oil benchmarks has contributed to this latest uptick in retail prices.

With the growing number of vehicles across the UAE driving increased demand, fuel consumption and pricing remain closely tied to global market forces, and state authorities continue periodic reviews to align domestic rates with prevailing international trends.
