Shams to Support the 7th Edition of the ASBU Broadcast Pro ME Selevision Summit and Awards 2017

Sharjah Media City (Shams), an innovative cost-free zone hub for specialised facilities in innovative and media sectors, were one of the key enrollers and partners for the 7th version of the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) BroadcastPro ME Summit and Honors which occurred at the Grand Habtoor Resort Autograph, on November 14, 2017,.

The annual summit sought to encourage and celebrate notable individuals in the broadcast and satellite industry throughout the MENA region, and featured exclusive networking prospects, seminars, and awards by key industry and federal government leaders. This year's occasion included 4 panels, twenty-five speakers, sixteen honors, and one gala supper.

Mr Shihab Al Hammadi, Director of Shams, provided two honors on phase: the first for Best Short Production Award 2017 which went to Electric Films & & Mubadala Investment Company's "Unknown Stories." The second award was for Ideal Long Production 2017 which went to Wanderer Productions for "Fighting Fit Dubai.".
