Samsung awards the Mobile Photography and Night Photography at Xposure 2024

Samsung Gulf Electronics, the exclusive mobile brand partner at Xposure 2024, bestowed accolades upon winners in the Mobile and Night Photography categories of the Xposure Photography Awards during a splendid ceremony held in Sharjah. Samsung's acknowledgment of photography talent underscores its dedication to nurturing artistic expression.

Fadi Abu Shamat, Head of the Mobile eXperience Division at Samsung Gulf Electronics, graced the occasion to bestow the awards upon the deserving winners, honoring their prowess and accomplishments.

Reflecting the democratization of photography in today's era, the Mobile Photography Category, supported by Samsung, hailed Naitao Li from China as the victor for “On the Songhua River", with Joy Saha from Bangladesh securing the runner-up spot for “Plastic Bottle Recycling". Also backed by Samsung, Filip Hrebenda from Slovakia clinched the runner-up position in the Night Photography category for his remarkable piece titled “The Night Hunter", while Xuejun Long from China seized the winning title with his photograph, “Drooling”.

Samsung conducted six AI photography workshops, delving deep into the art of capturing breathtaking photos and videos using the Galaxy S24 Series. These sessions showcased the AI capabilities of the Galaxy S24 Series and furnished professional insights and techniques for photography across diverse environments and lighting conditions. Furthermore, an expert-led photo walk explored Sharjah's hidden treasures utilizing Galaxy AI, allowing participants to put their newfound knowledge into action.

The Xposure International Photography Awards garnered over 25,000 submissions from 190 countries, encompassing China, India, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Germany, Italy, Brazil, Egypt, the USA, and the United Kingdom. Spanning categories from Architectural to Nature and Landscape Photography, along with the newly introduced "See Sharjah" category, the awards aim to celebrate and honor visual storytellers through a varied spectrum of subject matter.
