Rotana makes Turkish debut with the opening of two properties in Istanbul

Rotana, one of the leading hotel management companies with presence in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and Eastern Europe, has announced the opening of the Burgu Arjaan by Rotana and Tango Arjaan by Rotana in Istanbul its first properties in Turkey. Located majestically on Turkeys longest coastal lane, in the heart of Maltepe on the Asian side of Istanbul, the new properties added a combined inventory of 319 keys to Rotanas existing 13,679 rooms.

The new hotel apartments operated by Rotana for Dap-Yapi, one of Turkeys leading business groups, are designed to offer a privileged city life to families and guests looking to enjoy an extended stay in Istanbul. The properties are located adjacent to the metro line, and in close proximity to Sabiha Gken International Airport, Bagdat Street as well as key business and leisure districts.

The Burgu Arjaan by Rotana is comprised of two connected towers Burgu 1 and Burgu 2 which share a host of business and recreational facilities such as lobby, caf, business centre, restaurant, health club, indoor pool and outdoor pool and landscaped areas, as well as four meeting rooms and a ballroom. Burgu Arjaan by Rotana has a total of 163 rooms whereas the Tango Arjaan by Rotana has a room count of 156.

Keen to expand its presence in Turkey, Rotana has signed agreements for two new properties with Dap-Yapi the Dalga Residences and Vazo Residences, both located in Cevizli. The luxury residences will add a further 330 keys to Rotanas existing inventory, taking its Turkey portfolio to 4 properties.
Dalga Residences is scheduled to open by the end of 2015 while Vazo Residences is set to open for business in the first quarter of 2016.
