The Ministry of State for Federal National Council (FNC) Affairs organised a workshop for its staff members to talk about Federal Law No. 7 of 1999 for Pension and Social Safety, and the advantages and incentives it guarantees.

Organised in collaboration with the General Pension and Social security Authority in Abu Dhabi, the workshop was carried out by a group of specialists and experts from the market. It supports the Ministry's efforts to raise awareness about the advantages of social security, and to supply enough details and accurate responses to the general public's queries regarding this law.

His Excellency Tariq Hilal Lootah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of State for FNC Affairs, said: "The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Matters is committed to supplying its staff members all the details they need relating to federal legislations that influence their lives and theirmwork. This workshop reverberates with our vision to supply top-of- the-line management services that follow the highest possible requirements of high quality, efficiency, and transparency. The session presents the most up to date developments affecting the government regulation regulating pensions and social protection, including modifications that enable the legislation to stick to the basic direction embraced by the Federal government of the UAE."

Throughout the workshop, guests were provided the possibility to ask questions regarding the legislation and its execution, in addition to regarding their own civil liberties and the procedures to follow upon retirement.
