Dubai Culture to mark Zayed Humanitarian Day with diverse array of activities and events

The Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the Emirates dedicated Authority for culture, arts, and heritage, is marking the annual Zayed Humanitarian Day with a diverse array of activities and events, coinciding with the death anniversary of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Father of the Nation.

Falling on the nineteenth day of Ramadan each year, Zayed Humanitarian Day opens the doors for individuals, government entities, and private sectors to do their part for the communities they operate in.

Saeed Al Nabouda, Acting Director General, Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, said: Our participation in the annual Zayed Humanitarian Day underlines our commitment to uphold our values to reach out to the entire cross-spectrum of the society, especially during the Holy Month of Ramadan. We are honoured to be associated with an initiative established in memory of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, whose vision in the humanitarian and charitable fields continues to be a benchmark for the rest of the nation.

As part of the initiative, Dubai Culture will organise a community iftar for the labourers in Al Shindagha Historical Neighbourhood, in addition to distributing gifts and clothes to the labourers of the heritage sites during Eid. The Authority will provide suhour to worshippers at Al Rashidiya Grand Mosque, and distribute books to patients, children, and adults in Latifa Hospital and Dubai Hospital.

Dubai Culture is committed to enhancing awareness of culture and arts by fostering robust dialogue with the public to generate interest in the cultural sector, and contribute to promoting global dialogue on culture and arts.
