ZOOM partners with Talabat to launch home delivery service

ZOOM, the UAEs leading, home-grown convenience store, partnered with Talabat home delivery to improve its e-shopping offering for clients.

The partnership goes along with an increased demand for online shopping, offering customers a contactless shopping practice, by distributing vital products and fresh products to their households at the click of a button. ZOOMs growth into online delivery comes as convenience stores look for new, safe habits to attend to customers following the COVID-19 pandemic.

ZOOMs contactless home delivery service is now available at 26 locations and will be drawn-out across all the 51 stand-alone ZOOM stores by end-June. Furthermore, 50 ZOOM stores, located at ENOC service stations will be tallied up to the platform by end-July, with plans to include their entire network by the end of August.

His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO, ENOC Group, said: ZOOM has incessantly looked for innovative ways to offer the best in class shopper service, such as ENOCPay, a cashless, cardless payment platform. With the increase of cashless dealings following the pandemic, we have been discovering innovative ways to offer the best customer service standards while guaranteeing the safety of our customers and employees. Presenting a home delivery service in partnership with Talabat offers ease and convenience for customers to order groceries and aligns with the countrys broader vision to encourage cashless transactions as a safety measure in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Talabat Managing Director UAE, Muhammed Yildirim, said: We are excited ZOOM has chosen to partner with us to securely and easily deliver its wide assortment of products on the go. We share ENOCs drive to offer the best customer service standard and look forward to bring this new offer to our customers for their everyday needs in a safe way through our contactless and cashless delivery services.

ZOOM offers a range of everyday products such as bread, milk and fresh produce, which can be ordered via the Talabat app for delivery in as little as 30 minutes.

Launched in 2009, ZOOM has become part of the routine life of the UAE residents, offering convenient access to a extensive variety of products on the go. ZOOM has an assortment of set-ups from service station C-stores to mini marts and stores on the Metro network; as well as large scale standalone supermarkets in numerous residential communities and high-end sites, such as Burj Khalifa. Burj Gate, Cayan Towers and Burj Al Salam.
