UAE Announces Petrol and Diesel Prices for January 2026
The UAE Fuel Price Committee has announced the official petrol and diesel prices for January 2026, reflecting a decrease across all fuel categories compared to December rates. The revised prices will take effect starting January 1, 2026.
Under the country’s fuel pricing system, first introduced in 2015, petrol and diesel prices are deregulated to align with global market rates, ensuring transparency and stability in the energy sector.
New UAE Fuel Prices for January 2026:

Super 98 Petrol: Dh2.53 per litre (down from Dh2.70 in December)

Special 95 Petrol: Dh2.42 per litre (down from Dh2.58 in December)

E-Plus 91 Petrol: Dh2.34 per litre (down from Dh2.51 in December)

Diesel: Dh2.55 per litre (down from Dh2.85 in December)
The latest adjustment marks a notable price drop after several months of fluctuating global oil prices. The decrease is expected to provide relief for motorists and transportation sectors across the UAE, especially during the start of the new year.
