The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has emphasised the importance of Hajj permits as a key factor in ensuring smooth movement, safety, and organisation during the annual pilgrimage.

According to the Ministry, the permitting system plays a critical role in enabling pilgrims to perform their religious duties with ease and comfort, while maintaining an efficient flow of movement across the Holy Sites.

Officials noted that the system ensures a fair and orderly distribution of pilgrims across designated camps and locations, helping to prevent overcrowding and maintain balance during one of the world’s largest religious gatherings.

The Ministry also highlighted that compliance with Hajj regulations reflects a strong sense of civic responsibility, contributing to enhanced safety, security, and service quality for all participants. In contrast, violations can disrupt operational plans and negatively impact field services.

Authorities further warned against unauthorised Hajj campaigns that exploit prospective pilgrims, stressing that ongoing international coordination is in place to ensure accurate guidance reaches pilgrims in their home countries.

The Ministry urged all pilgrims to strictly adhere to the permitting system, underlining that collective cooperation remains essential to delivering a safe, organised, and successful Hajj season.
